6 weeks ago harry was shaved for the first time. his mane should be out of control again by now but my mother has put an end to that with her meat cutting scissors. she confessed only to snipping here and there and calls harry her "art's n' craft" project. i was horrified that she'd cut clean his whiskers--there's an entire row of whiskers evenly half-erased right off the face of this cat - like magic! i guess she had to find some way to balance out the giant wedge she'd carved out on the opposite side. after much interrogation her eyes finally relented and confessed the truth. but no matter, harry was so friendly and open toward me yesterday that i had free reign to hug squeeze and kiss him as much as i could handle on our 1 year anniversary. it was a rapturous love fest.
he was delicious.
